The Beta Chapter of Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. was founded on October 27, 1990 at Colorado State University by six beautiful women:

Lambda Facts
- We are the FIRST Latina Sorority in Colorado, originating from California State University, Chico
- Nickname: Lambdas, Sexy Silver Roses
- Symbol: Silver Rose
- Colors: Burgundy, Silver, and White
- We Step competitively with Machetes
- We were the innovators of the Latino Greek Council, the governing board for ALL Latino Greeks (Now known as MGC or the Multicultural Greek Council
Our Principles
Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. principles are based upon Academics, Community Service and Sisterhood.
Academics:
- Minimum of a 2.75 GPA
- Hold weekly required study hours
- Academic Chair- Makes sure sisters are putting a priority on their Academics and meets with sisters to help them plan/organize their academic future

Community Service
- Lambda Theta Nu is a non-profit organization based on serving the community
- Host two national Community Service projects:
-LYLC (Latina Youth Leadership Conference)
-Latino Literacy Grams
- Also participate in other community service projects at CSU and through out the Fort Collins community including:
-Triunfo Tutoring
-SAVA Advocacy Program
(Sexual Assault Victim Advocate Center)
-CSUnity
-Ramserve
And many other programs
